Wardrobe Plus Addon – KeeptheSheep Merch v1.0 – FS22
For those who don’t know, IRL I am a 3rd generation Sheep farmer in Western Australia, growing Merinos alongside my dad and his dad before him. Recently the lawmakers in Australia decided they were going to legislate a ban on 1/3 of the sheep market in WA – Live Exports by sea. A trade that helps farmers offload on excess sheep, provides fresh lamb to people in less-fortunate countries, and on the odd occasion, transportation of breeding ewes to help farmers abroad recover from natural disasters.
After this ban was announced May 2024, many farmers, truck drivers, shearers and people from all aspects of regional WA communities decided that we were not going to let them stop us from doing our job.
To “Fight this, Fight this like Hell”
A week after the ban was announced, the term “Keep the Sheep” was born, a petition set-up and a campaign launched to save our farming communities affected by this ban, which in the space of nearly 1 year has generated 110,000 signatures, performed 3 convoys, one of which took trucks from Western Australia on a massive 3,000km road trip across the continent to the nation’s capital to protest the ban, which unfortunately got rammed through parliament without “a fair go”.
On Friday the 28th of March, Keep the Sheep will set off with our biggest convoy of cars, trucks, utes and tractors through the streets of Perth WA, double the size of the first convoy last year.
To throw in my support for this campaign, I decided to make my own “Keep the Sheep” addon to the Wardrobe Plus mod for FS22 for those who want to show their support for the campaign but cannot do so in person.
This addon includes Keep the Sheep branded:
Cap,
Beanie
Hoodie
Polo Shirt
Sweater
Tee-shirts
All of which are colour-customisable to your own tastes, however the official merch is usually found in black. This mod will require the base Wardrobe Plus mod to work which you can find on the official in-game mod hub
This mod is free, however if you would like to donate for this mod, I encourage you to do so on Keep the Sheep’s official website, as all donations from this mod are intended to go directly to the campaign, however I cannot currently access the funds generated on itch.io.
